Manajemen Keuangan Pesantren di Era Society 5.0: Analisis Rasionalisasi Dan Disiplin Pasar (Weber)

Abstract

The rationalisation and market discipline principles from Max Weber's socioeconomic framework are used to analyse how Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia have changed their financial management in preparation for the Society 5.0 era. The study used qualitative approaches such as observation, interviews, and documentation based on field research conducted at the Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School in Purwokerto. Based on the findings, Islamic boarding schools have upgraded their financial systems from a trust-based, simplistic model to a more contemporary one that incorporates digital payments and records as well as new business units. Students learn about entrepreneurship and help Islamic boarding schools become more financially self-sufficient via Islamic boarding schools' commercial units, which include booths, cooperatives, cafés, and other service providers. Also, in order to be more open and accountable with their finances, Islamic boarding schools have established standard operating procedures (SOPs). This transformation demonstrates the fusion of economic modernization and religious values ​​that are maintained in Islamic boarding school management.
