Emotional intelligence is the ability of individuals to recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions as well as those of others, enabling them to adapt effectively and build positive relationships. This ability plays an important role in helping students face various challenges and solve problems effectively. This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills among students from the perspective of educational psychology. The study employed a library research method using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through a review of relevant literature, including books, journal articles, and previous research findings. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques through the processes of identification, classification, interpretation, and synthesis of information. The results indicate that emotional intelligence has a positive relationship with problem-solving skills. Students with higher emotional intelligence tend to be better at managing emotions, thinking rationally, maintaining motivation, and determining appropriate problem-solving strategies in various academic and social situations.
